I forced my eyes open, and saw that Adrian had returned with Sister. She was looking down at me, but not a single trace of worry or fear was on her features. That’s not what had concerned me though.
Gee had just called me by my full name. None of them have ever said my full name, it’s always just been ‘Sam’ never ‘Samantha’. There was only one reason why he would call me that, and it wasn’t very comforting.
“What’s wrong?” The question was directed to me. I saw Gee open his mouth to answer for me though.
Mustering whatever last bits of strength I had left I beat him to it. “I have a really bad migraine, and I just want to sleep.” I answered in a very weak voice. I hoped that would be enough for her to be able to help me.

Zero Zero 9A few weeks later we were both assigned to another project a simple surgery of an artificial heart supposed to be bulletproof (you see if they could make one organ bulletproof they could make them all that way and they didn’t want to waste time). Once it was in and we’d recovered from the surgery they tested it by chaining us up and shooting at our hearts. Getting shot is one of the worst things ever and the worst part was some of the hearts failed and they would put us on life support until they could put in a new slightly tweaked one. This went on until one worked and all we received when we were shot were extremely deep flesh wounds so it was a success and in the end and luckily neither of us died.
